We are currently hiring for a head of function for products, to join our management team in IT & Digital in Birmingham.

It’s a really exciting role, at a really exciting time, as we seek to implement our digital strategy, completely transform our operating model, culture and ways of working, and help all our residents, communities and businesses achieve their outcomes as quickly and easily as possible.
You’ll probably know already that Birmingham is a huge council with huge opportunities. We are the biggest local authority in Europe, and that gives us the scale to do digital properly. As our first ever head of function for products, you’ll be shaping how we do that by introducing and embedding product based thinking, user centred service design, and agile business analysis across the council.
